That’s a normal part of this type of event. A winner may not be present, a speech may run longer than expected, or the order of the programme may change. The DJ manages the musical direction live, responding to the actual flow of the ceremony by shortening or extending the music, adjusting the timing of cues, and filling unexpected pauses.

Yes. For award ceremonies, working closely with the technical team is a standard part of our service. We take part in the technical rehearsal, coordinate synchronisation points with the presentation and lighting, and agree on cues with the MC.
For ceremonies with a more complex stage setup, we usually work in cooperation with the venue’s technical team or your chosen production provider.
